The SC GEOS family wants to share some news about our upcoming information session discussing the University Pathways Program in Vancouver on Tuesday, February 28th at 4 pm. University Pathways helps international students achieve their dreams of entering their ideal college or university in Canada and U.S.A. SC GEOS offers this distinct University Pathways program so that students can receive many full benefits such as: - Support and advice about Canadian and US education, colleges, universities and about the application process.
- A completed GEOS Level and/or EAP (English for Academic Purposes) course.
- Eligibility to attend a desired program at a GEOS partner colleges or universities without a TOEFL or IELTS certification (standardized test of English language proficiency.)
- English courses delivered in a way that is in a similar education style at colleges and universities: Students are taught how to write essays, prepare and deliver Power Point presentations, listen to lectures, improve their note-taking and etc. To be enrolled in our Pathways program students have to take an Intensive English or Super-Intensive course.
In addition to these services, we provide personalized consultation to any student that is interested in Canadian/US education with organized campus tours, presentations, brochures and catalogues. Long-time SC GEOS team member David Cunningham is a full time teacher and academic coordinator in Vancouver. He is a key University Pathways team advisor and will openly and gladly help any aspiring college or university students with questions. He is also a musician in his free time and is a singer/ songwriter for a rock band called “Snow man in Heat”. Our Head Office Director of University Pathways Program, Olga Maracheva, will also be present to happily answer any further questions about the programs. |
