GEOS TESL Diploma
Students will learn how to prepare lessons focusing on specific skill areas in English education -- including learning how to select appropriate materials. They will discuss issues related to teaching specific language skills (i.e. listening and speaking, reading and writing, and grammar) and will be given an opportunity to prepare lessons and teach in front of peers.
The GEOS TESL Program aims to provide language teaching training to individuals who want to teach English as a Second or Foreign Language in Canada or the USA. It also sets up teachers going overseas for the highest possible level of success.

GEOS TESL International Certificate

The TESL International Certificate is designed to provide new teachers with a skill set to help them survive their first posting overseas. We cover preparing from given materials such as textbooks and internet materials and combine it with classroom management theory and a solid framework for lesson planning.
We will discuss how to make different skill lessons and the basic key concepts of language acquisition. New teachers will be given an opportunity to prepare lessons and teach in front of peers.
