Studying in Canada From Mexico is Now More Simple Than Ever
Canada prides itself as being one of the most culturally diverse and open countries in the world. The SC GEOS family is delighted to publicize a new set of immigration rules for Mexicans that will make traveling to the country even more convenient and flexible. Our schools in Canada including: Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto would love to offer a special deal for students from Mexico. Please contact us for details.
Now say goodbye to those pesky visa applications. Mexican citizens have a new and improved entry requirement for arriving to Canada. They will now need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to fly or transit through Canada. Applying for an ETA is a simple, inexpensive (CAD$7) process that takes just a few minutes to complete online. In addition to a fast process, the ETA is electronically linked to a traveler’s passport, and is valid for five years or until the passport expires. All visa-exempt foreign nationals except for U.S. citizens need an ETA to fly to or transit through Canada. Therefore not only is coming to Canada affordable and speedy, citizens now do not have to worry about re-applying for either another five years or until their passport is invalid. If you already have a valid Canadian visa, you do not have to apply for an ETA until it expires. More about ETA, please visit: www.canada.ca/eta
