The Local Ottawa Experience - After class activity in Ottawa English School

Hello again from the capital of Canada! This year’s winter hasn’t been as cold compared to previous years but nonetheless we are still looking forward to the spring season. On March 2nd, our Ottawa school family went to a popular hangout and took a well-deserved break from their classroom studies by getting to know each other better. Students enjoyed a game of pool and a healthy dose of competition at MacLaren’s on Elgin.  

MacLarens on Elgin is an authentic sports pool hall adorned with memorabilia and is regularly an establishment for hosting and supporting local, national and international sporting events. Being a part of social excursions to local authentic establishments, is so central to becoming more comfortable interacting with a language and being a part of a new community!
